Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 4, 2026
The short version
- You don't need an account. Your drill progress and streaks stay on your phone or tablet.
- If the app crashes or hits an error, it sends a technical report so we can fix the bug. It doesn't include your name, contact details or IP address.
- If you send feedback or email us, we get what you choose to write.
- We don't sell your information and there are no ads in the app.
Who we are
PaddleReps (listed as "Pickleball Drills at Home" on the App Store and Google Play) is a pickleball drills app made by a small independent team in Davao City, Philippines. In this policy, "PaddleReps", "we" and "us" mean the developer of PaddleReps, as shown on the app's App Store or Google Play listing. If you have questions about your information, email [email protected].
What the app keeps on your phone or tablet
The app saves your progress on your device: which drills and sessions you completed, the days you practiced, your streak and your settings. This information stays on your phone or tablet. We don't receive it, and it isn't linked to your name or email.
If your device backs up to your Google account or iCloud, this information is included in that backup. The backup is stored in your account, and we can't access it.
If you delete the app, this information is deleted from your device, though a copy may remain in your device's backup. We can't restore it for you, because we never had a copy.
Crash reports
When the app crashes or runs into an error (for example, a drill animation that fails to load), it sends a crash report through our crash reporting service, PostHog. A crash report contains technical details such as:
- the app version, your device model and manufacturer, and operating system version
- your device's language, time zone and screen size
- what went wrong in the app's code, and the screens you opened just before the error
- a random identifier for your app install, so we can tell how many installs a crash affects
Crash reports don't include your name, email, contacts, photos or location, and we don't store your IP address with them. We use them only to find and fix bugs. PostHog stores them in the United States, and they're kept for up to 1 year.
Crash reports aren't linked to your name or email, so we can't find or delete an individual report. They're removed when the period above ends.
App updates
Each time the app opens, it checks for updates through our app update service, Expo, and downloads its crash reporting settings from PostHog. The update check sends technical details such as the app version, your platform (Android or iOS) and a random identifier for your app install, so the right update reaches your device. Like any internet connection, these services can see your IP address. They don't receive your progress, name or email.
Feedback
Some screens in the app and our support page link to a feedback form hosted on Google Forms. We receive whatever you type into the form. An email address is optional. If you give one, we only use it to reply to you. Google processes form answers under Google's Privacy Policy.
If you email us, we receive your email address and your message. We use them to reply and to fix the problem you reported.
We keep feedback and emails for as long as they're useful for improving the app or helping you, and we'll delete them sooner if you ask.
Purchases
The app has no purchases today. If we add optional purchases later, payment is handled entirely by Apple or Google. We never see your card or bank details. The store only tells us what you bought, so we can unlock it.
This website
paddlereps.com has no sign-up forms and no advertising cookies. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see how many people visit and which pages they view. It doesn't use cookies and isn't used to identify individual visitors. Like most websites, our web server and Cloudflare keep standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, for security and to keep the site running. The fonts are served from our own site, so loading a page doesn't send your details to a font service.
Who we share information with
We don't sell or rent your information. We only use these service providers, and only for the purposes above:
- our crash reporting service, PostHog, for crash reports
- Expo, for delivering app updates
- Google Forms, for feedback you choose to send
- our email provider, Zoho Mail, for emails you send us
- our website hosting provider, Hetzner, for running our web server
- Cloudflare, for delivering and protecting our website and for website analytics
- Apple and Google, as the app stores that distribute the app
We choose reputable providers and share only what each one needs for the purposes above. Our service providers may store information outside the Philippines, including in the United States.
We may also share information if the law requires it.
Children
PaddleReps is meant for people aged 13 and older. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you think a child has sent us their information, email us and we'll delete it. If you're under 18, please get a parent or guardian's permission before using PaddleReps, as our Terms of Use require.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] and we'll reply within 30 days.
If you're in the Philippines, you have rights under the Data Privacy Act of 2012, including the right to complain to the National Privacy Commission.
Security
We keep the information we receive to a minimum and use reputable service providers that protect it. No system is perfectly secure. If something goes wrong that affects your information, we'll let you know in the way the law requires, such as a notice on this website.
Changes to this policy
If the app starts collecting new information, for example accounts or cloud sync, we'll update this page before that change goes live, change the date at the top, and let you know in the app.
